- Summary of Esther -
During the day of Ahasuerus' conquer. King Ahasuerus prepared a party and he invited many noble people to the party. At the party King Ahasuerus called Queen Vashti, because he wanted to show her beauty to the people who came to the party. But Queen Vashti didn't obey King's command, so King got angry with the Queen.
King consulted with the noble and wise people. So the wise people told the King to give the royal position to the another woman. King heard this advice and followed it. As the advice. King started to look for the beautifull-looking women.
There was Jewish man called Mordecai. He was raising his cousin called Esther, because she didn't have her father or mother. Esther was very beautiful and good-looking. So Mordecai took Esther to the fortress of Susa.
Hegai's took care of the women. And Esther gained his favor, so she was under Hegai's kindness. And Hegai gave everything what want. Esther won the first beauty-contest, and she transferred to the best quarters.
As the rule of this beauty-contest, every woman went to King Ahasuerus's place. The women couldn't go to the king's place if she won't be king's favorite. When it's Esther's turn, she went to the king's place. King Ahasuerus loved her more then the other women, so Esther became the queen.
The king honored Haman, so the members of the royal staff at the King's Gate told the people to bow to Haman. But Esther's uncle didn't, so one of the royal staff of the King's Gate told Haman about it.
Haman got angry at Mordecai and he tried to kill all the Jewish in the kingdom. Haman told this plan to the king and he agreed with this plan, so Haman decided a day and a month for the Jewish holocaust. When a copy of the text about the holocaust sent to Susa, city became confused.
When Mordecai heard about the Jewish holocaust, he tore his clothe and he put on the sackcloth. Also the Jewish in the city of Susa cried and they fasted. The servants told Esther about the news, Esther sent the servant to Mordecai to ask why, so Mordecai told Esther all about the occur. He also told her to ask for compassion for her people.
Esther told the Jewish and also to her servant to fast. On the third day, Esther put on her Queen clothes and went to the king's place. The king let her come in so she ask the king to come to the party that she will going to prepare for him. She also asked the king to come with Haman to the party. And king agreed with her. At the party she asked again to come to the party .
When Haman got back home from the party, he told her wife about Mordecai. When Haman's wife heard about Mordecai, she built a gallows to hang Mordecai.
One day the king couldn't sleep, so he told his servant to bring the book of records of the chronicles. And the servant read the book for the king. The servant read about Mordecai's goodwill and king found out that he didn't reward Mordecai about it. So the king told his servant to put King's clothe on Mordecai. The servant told the city "This shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honor.".
When Haman so Mordecai on the king's horse. He got extremely angry and got home. During Haman talking to his wife, a messenger from the king came to Haman's house and took him to the party that Esther prepared for the king and Haman.
At the party, the king asked Esther what she want, so she asked him not to holocaust Jewish. When the king knew that Haman is trying to holocaust the Jewish people, he told his royal eunuchs to hang him. So Haman died.
After Haman's death. The king told all the Jewish people in the city, that they can fight against the people who try to kill them. So all the Jewish people in the city of Susa rejoiced. On the day of holocaust, Jewish killed their enemy and they made that day for feasting and rejoicing.
